The MetroMobile nearly groaning under the weight of our jockeybox and 6 kegs of beer, we hit the road early on the morning of June 28th. Luckily, there was just enough room for a change of clothes and our toothbrushes.

Our hostess, Margaret. She didn't share her applesauce with us, but she did let us crash on her pull-out couch.

 

Dedicated drinkers George and Barb Pavliscak were kind enough to attend the party in their Metro t-shirts. Luckily, they take payment in beer.

As you can imagine, we respect a clever way of despensing beer. Behold, Furthermore paid homage to the landscaping business which existed in the barn before it was turned into beer-party nirvana by using the old sign as a tap tower. Beautiful!

 

As great parties often do, this one started spilling outside almost immediately.

 

Boheme 66 made me think "The Stooges" a few times. As such, I love them.

 

Old Panther... seriously. You just needed to be there. Loud, grindy guitars and bass; feverish, witty keyboard; all churned up with chest-thumping, razor-sharp drumming. Bliss.

 

The 39th Annual Spring Green Arts and Crafts Fair was happening the same weekend. This was our late-night stroll home. Spooky and arty!
