We've always admired the Ravenswood Industrial Corridor. Along the Metra tracks and pretty much dissecting the Ravenswood neighborhood, this area is a unique "urban preserve" of light industrial business. Imagine our amazement when we actually landed a space in the Corridor.

Just a few months after we acquired our brewery space, we discovered that a micro distillery had moved into the space right next to us - in the same building. Yes, you read that right. Koval is our liquor-doppelgänger; a husband/wife team getting a small booze business off the ground. They produce liqueurs made from rose hip, ginger, and pear; grain spirits made from oat, spelt, wheat, and rye; a vodka made with rye; and Bierbrand made with Dynamo Copper Lager. Check out their website for a map of their retail locations. We guarantee that you'll be inspired to create brand new cocktails. We were, anyway. Try mixing the Rose Hip liqueur with Dynamo - we call it a Rosy Winona.
